There has been an Anglican (formerly Church of England) presence here in the Goondiwindi region for close to 150 years. Parishioners, or people who belong to the parish, have been pioneers in the local community over that time. Many still contribute significantly to the life of the region.

What supports the life and work of the parish and its members is the belief that God has called us to live out the love of God in our world. That love was made real in Jesus who lived a just, compassionate and authentic life, healing and restoring those who suffer, calling for repentance and opposing the injustice of his day. His death was not the end. He conquered the grave and sin, and God raised him from death. We believe God calls us into relationship with Christ. As a parish we seek to live out that relationship as we become more present to the mystery of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. It is a compassionate and life-transforming journey to which everyone is invited.

We welcome you to our Parish.
